Getting There

The nearest railhead is at Kurla also called the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, from where most of the outbound trains originate and terminate. However, in case you are on a train bound for Dadar Terminus or Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus, the other two major railway terminuses in Mumbai, you could either take a taxi or a local train to reach Ghatkopar which is a 45 min journey along the Eastern Express Highway to reach the LBS g.Mar

The nearest airport is the Chatrapati Shivaji International Terminal and is about 8 kms from the depot. You could avail of a taxi or a auto-rickshaw along Kalina-Kurla link road to reach the depot.

Visitor Timings.

The depot is open to visitors on Mondays and Wednesdays between 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs. However, if you would like to visit the depot on any other day, prior appointment may be sought. In case of visitors of foreign nationality, a mandatory security clearance is required, and therefore it is advisable to seek an appointment well in advance, preferably a fortnight.
